The story of
Emma Bruce
Emma Bruce is the proud creator and writer of the Pink Club book series. Recently launched, Pink Club offers its readers the chance to enter a world full of mystery, glitz and glam on a scale never seen before—right in the centre of London.
The idea for Pink Club quite literally hit Emma like a bolt out of the blue. Having felt despondent about writing, already having tried for a few years to get a book together, with ideas that just wouldn’t stick or rather that Emma feels she wouldn’t stick with—as she couldn’t follow through from beginning to end with any ideas, she decided to throw the towel in with writing. Making peace with her decision and putting it out of her mind, Emma went to bed that very same night not thinking of anything book related.
Waking the next morning on the 16th of June 2016, in a half sleepy state, exiting her’s and her husband Matthew’s bedroom, it was while walking down the stairs and reaching the halfway point, Emma was struck with this idea which came as she describes it—out of nowhere. The idea began moving rapidly through Emma’s mind like a movie—before she had even reached the bottom of the staircase she was wide awake and running around like a mad woman, shouting that she needed a notepad and a pen immediately! What followed was a whole day spent on this brand new idea for Pink Club. The title Emma claims has always been Pink Club, it has never changed.
